An enhancement detail is designed to compliment vehicles that are already in  good condition with minimal defects visible within the paint finish.

The work carried out includes what is known as a single stage machine polish. This is one round of passes over the vehicle to remove holograms, swirls and general wash marring. Removing these defects vastly improves the gloss & clarity of the paint.

As standard, all cars are finished with a synthetic spray sealant or wax. Upgrading to a ceramic coating is advisable owing to the fact that the car has been fully prepared to receive a last stage protective treatment.

Steps taken:

Car receives a full safe wash with arches and door shuts fully flushed.

Paintwork & wheels chemically decontaminated to remove environmental fallout along with being clay barred to remove any embedded contamination.

Car washed again & dried prior to paint measurements being taken. This gives an indication of the paint thickness. Helping inform what steps to take when polishing. 

( If there are any areas of the paint that appear to be particularly thin or pose a risk of clear coat damage, I will discuss this with you prior to proceeding. )

All painted surfaces machine polished and then treated to a spray sealant or wax ( ceramic coating upgrade available )

Exterior trims and tyre walls dressed along with all glass being cleaned inside & out.

Two stage correction

A two stage correction detail aims to vastly reduce or remove visible defects such as deeper swirl marks from improper washing, medium depth scratches and oxidation from older or more weathered paint finishes.  

This level of work requires additional cutting stages which remove more clear coat from the vehicle in order to level out the finish. This is then followed by a refining stage which will then restore gloss, clarity & depth to the paint.
